This edition prepared for and copyrighted in the Australian Commonwealth and New Zealand. The hymn book was located in an antique shop 'Granny's Chattels' by Alan G. Cleland of Portland while on holidays in Echuca, Vic. After purchase he discovered that it was believed to have been originally purchased in Portland - see label for Charles French, Bookseller, Portland, inside front cover.Navy blue cloth-covered board binding. Two horizontal panels of embossed decoration at top and bottom of covers and spine. Embossed title on front cover.
