W2 447 was one of the trams featured in the interior of the "Canberra Tradesmen's Union Club" which had a collection of trams from Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne in their premises. Special membership card or Ticket - with W2 447 on one side advertising the club and an MMTB 1d ticket on the other,. Newspaper or magazine cutting from an unknown gloss paper titled "How SCATS can adapt", about the use of the system - Sydney Coordinated Adaptive Traffic System (from VicRoads Website 7/7/2019), noting the use for the system for traffic control in Melbourne, including tram priority. Series of letters between Frank Shennen, Managing Editor of the Transportation Magazine of Sydney and Lewis Russell regarding cable trams. This information may have formed the basis of an article, "Salute to the Cable Tram" that appeared in the July 1948 issue of Truck and Bus Transportation - see Reg Item 2578. A tramway employee and two boys at the front of the grip car seem to be manipulating something. Saloon car is No. 183 with the conductor pushing the car. The grip car has the destination of Brunswick and the saloon Flinders St? Note the two steel tramway poles and overhead for the North Coburg electric tram service from Moreland Rod into Sydney Road.
