This item of dress would have been worn at summer entertainments or at pool parties. The bold floral pattern is typical of the styles favoured in the 1960s and 70s.This dress is of minor interest as an example of ladies’ clothing from the 20th century and will be useful for display.This is a floor length woman’s dress. It is made of polyester material and the print has a white background with mauve, aqua and pink flowers. The waist at the back is elasticized and there is a zip at the back.
