Prescription book (pad) used by Dr A Park (medical doctor), at Tatura, in the 1895. Some of the book has been used Hard cover book with pink, blue and white patterned covering with taped spine. Opens at short edge. Inside pages have identical wording printed on each page and each page has been stamped with a number. Each page has another page underneath (copy) and made of thinner paper. This is a set of four photographs of three Regimental Sergeant-Majors (RSMs) of the Army Survey Regiment at Fortuna. Their appointments as RSM spanned from 1963 to 1976. WO1 Robin Wilson’s appointment was from 1963 to 1966. He served in the Australian Army from 1946 to 1979. WO1 Wilson ended his service in another corps as a commissioned officer and reached the rank of Major. WO1 Peter Gale’s appointment was from 1966 to 1968. He served in the Australian Army from 1946 to 1968. WO1 John Hogan’s appointment was from 1968 to 1976. After transfer from the British Army, he served in the Australian Army from 1952 to 1976. WO1 Hogan continued his service in Defence as the RAN Liaison Officer located in Fortuna’s coach house building for several more years. Thomas Flanagan opened his first store in Tatura in 1895 at the earnest persuasion of Cr. Thomas Hogan, with stock valued at .33/3/9! Prior to this he had a travelling drapery business in the Western District of N.S.W. with Mick Hogan.|In 1900 he built a new shop on the corner of Ross and Hogan Streets where he remained until a larger store was erected on the site where Foodwork's Supermarket now stands.
