She subsequently ran a bakery in Swanston street and later married Thomas Scott, Tinner and Galvanizer. They lived in Victoria street (now rooks Road) and had several children, one daughter being named Emma. Emma married Mr. Ottenbach who jumped ship from the German navy and they had a daughter, Christina who was a member of the Nunawading Historical society. Sir Ivor Henry Thomas Hele CBE is a noted war artist famous for his portraiture of war scenes. He is Australia's longest serving war artist and completed more commissioned paintings than any other painter. The artist was born on the 13th June 1912 at Edwardstown South Australia. He died on the 2nd December 1993 at Bedford Park South Australia. He was educated at Prince Albert College at Westbourne Park in South Australia.Framed print of an oil on canvas war scene. Anzac The Landing 1915 is an oil on canvas painted by George Washington Lambert. Painting depicts Australian soldiers of the covering force ( 3rd Infantry Brigade) climbing the seaward slope of Plugge's Plateau which overlooks the north end of the Anzac Cove. The view is to the north toward the main range. The yellow pinnacle is "The Sphinx " and beyond is Walker's Ridge which leads to Russell's Top. The white bags each soldier is shown carrying has two days rations which were issued especially for the landing. George Washington Thomas Lambert ARA. Born 13th September 1873 - died 29th May 1930. Australian artist known principally for portrait painting and as a war artist during the 1st World war.Framed print of an oil on canvas " The Making Of A Legend ". Depicting the Landing at Anzac Cove at dawn on the 25th April 1915.The print has inscribed below the painting the story of Anzac Cove with descriptions of numbers of casualties inflicted. -

Details of CPL COX's service can be found in the attached service record.Circular plaque with an image of Britannia standing with a lion and holding a trident and an olive wreath. Below the name tablet, to the right of the lion, is an oak spray with acorns. Two dolphins swim around Britannia, symbolizing Britain's sea power, and at the bottom a second lion is tearing apart the German eagle. There is a rectangular tablet reading CHARLES THOMAS COX cast in raised letters. Number 4 stamped between back leg and tail of lion. The legend reads (in capitals) "He died for freedom and honour". Designer’s, Edward Carter Preston) initials in front of lion’s front foot. -
