Letter - KANGAROO FLAT GOLD MINE COLLECTION: LETTER RE CENTRAL DEBORAH GOLD MINE DEVELOPMENT
Two page letter to N.R. Hooker, General Manager, Western Mining Corporation, Belmont, W.A., dated 26th June 1980 from J.O. Reynolds. Letter discusses the proposal to develop the Central Deborah Gold Mine and the possible involvement of Western Mining Corporation in its setting up. The Bendigo Trust envisages operating the mine as a tourist operation whilst allowing mining at lower levels. 'The existing headframe and winding equipment would be used for productive operations'. 'Dewatering the mine to 700 ft would be unnecesary for a shallow tourist mine and doing for less than 40,000 was unrealistic'.bendigo, gold mining, central deborah gold mine -
