Fun RunPlans for the 1993 Ringwood Festival were up and running.The two week festival contained community displays, family fun, theatre and cabaret. A highlight was the annual Ringwood Fun Run. Frankie J Holden opened the day along with Ringwood Mayor, Greg Adkins.

Kevin Pratt was one of Ringwood's best known residents when he died at the age of 77 in 1987. An amputee from the age of three he overcame his own physical handicaps and went on to encourage and help the youth of the district. He was President of the Ringwood Football Club for 25 years. His memory is perpetuated by a pavillion in Mullum Reserve which bears his name. Mr Pratt's Funeral service in Our Ladies Church in Bedford Road was well attended. Norwood High School started the school year in multiple temporary premises while the new school was being erected in Byron Street, eventually opening mid 1959.Temporary alternative classroom accommodation report with photographs.Altogether, 214 pupils of the school work in what teachers say are impossible conditions in the East Ringwood drill hall, the Anglican Church Hall, and (East Ringwood) football pavilion.

Used by a girl member of the Ringwood Primary School band before 1974, possibly as early as 1930s. The silvered buttons have Edward VII marks. The style of the front fastenings is called plastron.Navy blue woollen material jacket with red collar and pointed cuffs decorated with thin band of bone coloured braid.
