Coloured bas-relief photograph of Queen Alexandra. Dark background. She is wearing a formal gown, coloured pink with yellow off the shoulder neckline, white elbow length gloves and carrying a yellow closed fan. The pattern on her gown has been glittered in various colours, along with her snake head bracelet, tiara and choker jewellery. There is an 8mm border along the bottom and a 3mm border along the sides and top. On the bottom border on the left hand side is printed 667 A, in the middle the words H.M. Queen Alexandra and on the right hand side J Beagles & Co E.C. The postcard has been stuck to another piece of card of equal size. On the reverse at the top appears the printed words Portrait Bas-Relief Card The J.B. & Co Series. The card is addressed to Miss I Dean "Esmond" McKenzie Street Golden Square. She is wearing a tiara on her head, diamond earrings and an elaborate choker and necklace of diamonds and pearls. There is a 1 cm border along the bottom edge only, with the printed words Konigin Alexandra v. England. On the lower left hand corner of the photograph are the letters PRH styled into a logo and on the lower righthand corner are the numbers 429. Part of the postage stamp on the rear has folded over onto the photograph. On the reverse the card is addressed to Miss Ir Dean Esmond McKenzie Street Golden Square. A one penny stamp has been affixed and is postmarked Malvern.postcard
