Quinn CollectionTwo-page letter written on two sheets of buff-coloured paper (0815.a1-2). Letter is headed Liddesdale Avenue, Frankston and dated 9/07/49. The pale brown envelope (0815.b), addressed to Mr Allan Quinn at the shipping office in Stockholm, has been re-addressed several times. It bears three Australian stamps. The matching airmail envelope (0869.b) is edged with alternating red and blue stripes. It is addressed to Allan Quinn Esp., C/- General Delivery, G.P.O. Oslo, Norway. 'Oslo' is written twice, the first one being crossed out. The postage is one and sixpence, the postmark Elsternwick, date 11 May 1951.
