Following his death in 1895, from 1897 the house was leased and owned by a succession of owners including the Fripp family, the Royal Women’s Hospital and the Mount Royal Hospital before being sold to the Society of Jesus for Xavier College. In 2004 the title was transferred to Villa Alba Museum Inc., and the western section of the garden leased to Xavier College for 99 years. Dog tags were issued by the Shire of Bulla to all dog owners who resided within the Shire. The dog tags were used to identify dogs and to control wandering animals in the area.A gold metal dog tag with a small key ring issued by the Shire of Bulla in 1982. The lettering on the tag is engraved in the concave side of the tag. The tag is in a small brown envelope which has been fastened with staples at the end. The words Regd. Compacts containing face powder and foundation in one were sold in department stores from the early 1950's. Their widespread use meant that the heavier powder compacts with face powder were less popular.A round black plastic compact with a gold design on the hinged lid. There is a gold border around the circumference and part of the paint has disappeared near the catch. In the centre there is a coronet which is surrounded with a floral design. The stocking were worn with corsets or a suspender belt and were fastened to the foundation garments with suspenders. 60 denier stocking were not the finest knit stocking.
