In 1994, the Arthritis Foundation of Victoria (AFV) awarded the Ararat Arthritis Support Group with the Mollie Riches Award in recognition of the group's efforts to raise public awareness of the Foundation's work. In this photo, AFV's CEO, Shirley Caulfield, presents the a silver platter to Catherine McAdie, while others (seated) look on. The presentation was made at the Annual Regional Luncheon in Stawell, with members from Stawell, Horsham, Hamilton, and Ararat attending. In conjunction with the event, a pain management seminar was also held on the day.
