On the 26th of March, (circa 1989), various staff from the Royal Melbourne Hospital took part in a Joint Walk event. According to Leonie Oldmeadow, Senior Clinician Musculoskeletal Therapist at the hospital, many of the participants were from the Environmental Services department of the hospital. The event included a 5-minute warm-up, a 20-minute walk, and a 5-minute cool-down (pictured). Many of the participants were keen to continue to do a "Joint Walk" on a regular basis.COL photo of a group of people demonstrating some exercises to a group of nurses. We had more than sixty walkers, principally from Environmental Services, who enjoyed a five minute warm up, 20 minute walk and five minute cool down (see photo). Several requested that we do it regularly! Yours sincerely, [signature handwritten in black ink] Leonie.
