Edward Buckley died at Newbridge in 1878, a resident for 17 years. He established and operated a flour mill (Lancaster Bridge) which was sold two months after his death. A large lot of papers, including this and other telegrams, were apparently found in the ceiling cavity of the Sandy Creek/Tarnagulla Post and Telegraph Office in the later 20th Century, during building works. This file contains two brochures from the Brighton General Cemetery, one black and white dated 2013, the other in colour and undated. The first provides eight short biographies of notable writers and journalists interned at the cemetery, the other containing a map with the location of thirty-four notable internments unrelated to literature. Both provide a brief history of the cemetery with the first also including images of some of the people discussed and what appears to be the cemetery emblem.
