In 1996, the Grandparent of the Year (GPOTY) program became involved with the Royal Agricultural Society. GPOTY entrants and supporters handed out program maps on Super Seniors Day at the Royal Melbourne Show. A highlight of the day was the Tiny Tots Photo Competition. Twenty four winners from almost 3000 entries won prizes on the day. A slightly cropped version of this photo appears on page 7 of the Vol 9 No 4, Summer 1996 issue of the Arthritis Foundation's quarterly magazine, Arthritis Update. Around 1992 to 1993, Australian Guarantee Corporation (sponsor the Grandparent Of The Year (GPOTY) program), presented the Arthritis Foundation of Victoria (AFV) with a donation. This photo, commemorating the moment, was taken at AFV's headquarters at Action House. On the 26th of November 2000, the Arthritis Foundation of Victoria held its "Primelife Grandparent of the Year" grand finale award celebration. The event was held at the Melbourne Town Hall.
