This is a set of nine photographs of personnel delivering new gym equipment at the Army Survey Regiment, Fortuna, Bendigo in 1990. Louise Hearman used the Norla Dome and painted a mural painted which had taken her around a year to complete. The exhibition called Elephant Room was shown from June 1988. The work was vandalised in 1989 and subsequently demolished.Louise Hearman is a Melbourne born artist and Archibald Prize winner. Hearman first came to public notice in 1987/88 when she spent a year painting the mural in the Norla Dome. During National Healthy Bones Week 2003, the Arthritis Foundation of Victoria partnered with MONSU (Monash University Student Union) to present an informative and inspiring event promoting bone health. As an Old Collegian Ken also served on the Ballarat College Council 1950-73 and the Ballarat Clarendon College Council 1974-84 (Chairman 1976-84). This hall was originally at Tostaree where it was opened in 1919 as State School no. 3994, worked part time with Upper Hospital Creek, Canni Creek. In the early 1990s, the Bulla Primary School received funding for the school to purchase and install new playground and gym equipment for the children. The climbing tyres were one of the purchases. Ron was a a junior legatee after his father Ron Barassi Snr was killed at Tobruk in World War II. He has participated in many Legacy events over many years.
