The Shire of Grenville was proclaimed in 1864. The Shire offices and hall are believed to have been completed by the mid 1860s.Original sepia photograph showing a group of men standing outside the Shire Council offices at Linton. Photo shows the fence at the front of the Grenville Shire offices, and part of the next-door shop (Austin's at that time?).
