Gustave Adolphe arrived in Australia from Germany with his father Otto (see Item 10641.61) in 1856 arriving in Bendigo via Adelaide. He married Annie Anders-Pohl in 1876. He took over his father-in-laws vineyard at Axe Creek. Gustave and Annie had the following children:- Alice MAtilda (1877-1984) m. Fred Jenkinson in 1911; Amelia (1879-1954) m.
