William was a hairdresser. By 1931, Cyril Ernest Stott and his wife Ruby Albinia (nee Quinn) were registered at the property. They had married in 1911 and had previously lived at 139 Myers Street. Cyril was an insurance collector.Black and white photographs (2) mounted on rectangular grey board. House, brick and render, decorative gable, 1 chimney, porch with brick balustrade and rendered pillars, patterned windows. Slat wooden fence with capping board. Gate with arbor. ' Mr. McClure State Member for Bendigo ...A 'Bendigo Advertiser' article with the heading ' B.I.T. and State College Will Be Merged. ' Mr. McClure State Member for Bendigo released the news about the merger and the site of the building proposed for teacher education. The decision was greeted with contrasting dismay, excitement and resignation. Mr. K.G. Scarrott, the Principal of Bendigo Teachers' College said the Australian Universities Commission recommended the merger in their report. Letter from Daryl McClure, M.L.A., Bendigo, January 31st 1980, to Mr. R. Wright, Western Mining Corporation, concerning the costings for a submersible pump for installation at the Central Deborah Gold Mine, Bendigo. The budget figure was $32,000. The water would be pumped from a depth of 700 ft to a depth of 100 ft. It was anticipated that it would take approximately 200 days to reach that level. Three gold covered auction catalogues with black printing for Australia's First (Believed to be World's First) Gold Nugget Auction held in the Memorial Hall, Pall Mall, Bendigo on the 24th May, 1980.
