In 1993, the Arthritis Foundation of Victoria (AFV) celebrated its 25th anniversary. Formerly known as the Rheumatic and Arthritis Association of Victoria (RAAV), the organisation was founded in 1968 by Dr Leslie Koadlow (1920-2006) with the assistance and support of his secretary, Alice Petty (-1995), and one of his patients, Mollie Riches (1896-1979). The anniversary celebrations were held at the historic Como House and Garden. Built in 1847 by the Armytage family, Como House is located on the corner of Williams Rd and Lechlade Ave, South Yarra, on Wurundjery Woiwurrung Country. In this photo, Chairman of the Fundraising Committee at the Foundation, Alan Sime, presents a framed certificate of appreciation to Judith Reddish. He was taken on a tour through the production facilities and messes. RSM-A WO1 Kevin (Lofty) Wendt OAM, BEM was the 2nd RSM to be appointed to the position of RSM-A, the most senior Warrant Officer position in the Australian Army. His appointment was from 1987 to 1990. On this occasion he was escorted by WO1 Neville Stone, who was the RSM of the Army Survey Regiment from 1988 to 1990.
