Flora Hill No. 4667 was opened in Ellis Street in 1952. In 1956 it became a training school for the teacher's College. In 1959 it was joined by students from the Bendigo Girls School. The school closed in 2007 and the buildings were demolished in 2009 to make way for the Bendigo South Eastern secondary school.Bendigo Advertiser ''The way we were'' from 2002.
