Article about the friendship between two Returned Nurses; 84 year old Nellie Norman (a resident at Osburn Lodge Wodonga) and 75 year old Ruth Sampson (who visits old soldiers and returned nurses as an RSL member). Mrs Sampson had one wish, to push Mrs Norman in the ANZAC Day parade. Regt No 2453 enlisted 7.7.1915 in 5th reinforcements 24th BN AIF, awarded Military Medal 20.9.1917 at Westhoeck, awarded Bar to the Military Medal 14.6.1918 at TREUX near Albert, both times as a Signaller repairing telephone lines under fire.
