An art exhibition of Barbara Ashford Wood's paintings was held from the 21st to the 31st of March 2001 at the Australian Guild of Realist Artists Galleries in Camberwell. The exhibition was a fundraising event for the Arthritis Foundation of Victoria (AFV) incorporating Osteoporosis Victoria (OV). In this photo, Barbara Ashford Wood is standing in front of some of her paintings with the director of The Guild Galleries, Brenda Innes, CEO of Primelife Corporation, Ted Sent, and Arthritis Victoria President, Bruce Dyson. The photo appears on page 2 of the Vol 14 Issue 03, Spring 2001 edition of the Arthritis Foundation of Victoria's quarterly magazine, Update. It is captioned: "At a recent exhibition of paintings by Barbara Ashford Wood at the Guild Galleries in Camberwell. (l to r): Brenda Innes, gallery director, Ted Sent, CEO Primelife Corporation, the artist, and Bruce Dyson, president of Arthritis Victoria, which benefited from the proceeds of the event." The event was initially promoted with a photo of one of Barbara's paintings on page 17 of the Vol 14 Issue 01, Autumn 2001 edition of Update.COL photo of four people, standing in a row, posing for a photo. They are all smiling. One of the women is holding a large bouquet of flowers.
