These are biographical details provided by the son of Hulbert Gorrie, a Chemist who worked at Rankin and Eyval Chemists shop at 165 Glenhuntly Road (from around 1920 to 1957). Hulbert and his wife Gertrude Gorrie purchased the vacant block and built the first house at the address in 1936. A horse drawn vehicle and women in long dresses are shown in one of the photographs. The other two most likely date to the 1960s. Exact dates and photographers unknown.
