Typed on another piece of paper is: These two ballot papers were found in the Tarnagulla Town Hall before its reconstruction this year. Apart from a few records in possession of the Goldfields Historical Society the Tarnagulla Borough Records were pulped during the war. The ballot paper for the School District is an election for a School Board of Advice in 1873 (the first election under the Act).
