The Arthritis Foundation of Victoria's Telephone Advisory Service (TAS) (also known as the Telephone Information Service - TIS) was staffed by volunteers, and provided information and referral services to members. On the 17th of October, 2000, Arthritis Victoria (incorporating Osteoporosis Victoria) held a seminar on World Osteoporosis Day (WOD). The event was held at the Glen Eira Town Hall Auditorium. 200 participants attended the seminar, which included guest speakers and information displays.
