This band performed at all major carnivals and processions in the Bendigo/Eaglehawk area in 1915/16. In 1915 the Drum major was J Hanlon and the band was described as having many homemade instruments. In 1916 Leggo's Tin Can Band was described as wearing scarlett uniforms with silver buttons and playing under the musical direction of Mr W Jackson.Bendigo Advertiser ''The way we were'' from 2002.
