The white envelope has the title "Ballarat Trams A Pictorial History in Four Post Cards" and a horse tram printed on it - made from heavy one sided paste board. The postcards consist of 1. Comprising plain paper end papers and 104 printed pages (52 leaves), with each sheet printed in black on feint ruled paper for recording the hours worked and other details of drivers and conductors employed by ESCo. Printed for daily use, with Day and date page headings - made out for the 1930's.
