Set of three colour photographs of trams using the new junction at Carlisle St and St Kilda Road with the St Kilda Town Hall in the background. Part of the project to widen St Kilda Road (formerly High St) from St Kilda Junction to Brighton Road early 1974. Photos are: 1 - Tram W2 class 524 turning from Carlisle St over track work being installed and being prepared for concreting. 2 - Tram W2 class 582 southbound entering Brighton Road. 3 - tram W5 777 in Carlisle St crossing Brighton Road.
