Glenferrie Road is being reconstructed with the north bound track in a temporary location. Tram has advert for Kenric clothes and Exide? batteries. The night watchman is watching the tram. His cabin is behind him.. The tram is showing (incorrectly) Kew Cotham Road destination. This is a Camberwell Depot tram bound for Malvern Town Hall assisting movement of School children in Glenferrie Road in the afternoon. Note the Camberwell Run number in the driver cab window. On the north bound track is possibly a SW6. Bruce Eames on Facebook advised 7/9/2020; it’s been identified as the 1954 Royal Visit - https://viewer.slv.vic.gov.au/?entity=IE5664991&mode=browse Paul Kennelly of BCSV advised - 14/5/2023 - The bus in Swanston Street is a Giles bodied Reo that was new in 1947 to Lew Page, either JB 652 (on Route 1) or JJ 337 (on Route 2). Set of three letters written to Bob Lilburn regarding Ballarat matters. .1 - Dave Macartney - 2-12-1990 - re the Ballarat Tramcar restaurant and the bodies that were used, advertising on tram 40 (a perineal topic of Bobs'), ESCo No. 12 body. Written on the back of "Keystone Movies" letterhead which was operated by Dave. .2 - Dave Macartney - 29-3-1992 - W2's at Balkistons yard and the removal of the two (W2 552 and 625) and scrapped from the Tramcar Restaurant on Macarthur and Drummond St North. .3 - Dave Macartney - 20-6-1993 - regarding ESCo 16, that featured in The Courier 1971 and its location - located in Haddon and burnt after 1971.trams, tramways, letters, esco, w2 class -

Coy of Victoria Ltd. 2d Cash Ticket Only*. Print in the centre is *Issued to adults on receipt of 2d cash. The points between which the passenger is entitled to travel will be punched out. Not Good For Transfer. This ticket must be shown on demand or another Fare will be charged. Etc. Also lists Tram stops front and back. At the bottom is says *Please destroy ticket when leaving car.
