In 1993, the Arthritis Foundation of Victoria (AFV) celebrated its 25th anniversary. Formerly known as the Rheumatic and Arthritis Association of Victoria (RAAV), the organisation was founded in 1968 by Dr Leslie Koadlow (1920-2006) with the assistance and support of his secretary, Alice Petty (-1995), and one of his patients, Mollie Riches (1896-1979).
