The belt was owned and used by Pte Sean Farrow, and is created in regimental colours. Was worn over the dark green woollen jersey. Ceremonial Belt mounted on wooden plaque. Belt buckle is made of brass and is inscribed with "The Royal Australian Regiment" in the centre. The physical belt is coloured red and blue and made of a woven material. The medallion pays respect to the sacrifices made by the units in Operation Bribie on 17th February 1967.The medallion takes its place amongst similar medallions and other commemorative items that revert to particular instances or event in Vietnam during the war.Two medallions showing front and reverse faces of a medallion issued at Vietnam Veterans Association of Australia, 2014 National Congress, hosted by Macarthur Sub Branch. Front face shows an APC with text on upper edge: "Phouc Hai-South Vietnam" and text on bottom edge: "Lest We Forget"; the two text lines are joined by leaves. Text in the middle of the face: "In memory of the sacrifice made by 6RAR & A Sqn 3 Cav Regt Operation Bribie 17th Feb 1967. A commemoration ceremony at the Long Tan Cross, Vietnam with Australian soldiers reflecting on the battle and the cost therein; supported by two pipers. Includes the Heading for the text: The Pipers Lament to the dead of Long Tan by 6RAR/NZ Battalion. Photograph AWM Bel 69/556VN.The Long Tan Cross is a memorial which was erected by the 6th Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment on 18 August 1969 to mark the site of the Battle of Long Tan, which was fought three years earlier during the Vietnam War. While the cross was removed following the Communist victory in 1975 and used to commemorate a priest, it was recovered by the Đồng Nai Province Museum in 1984 and placed on display. A replica cross was also erected on the battlefield during the 1980s, and is frequently visited by Australian Vietnam War veterans.
