Edited by the Cultural Committee of the Kadimah it provides a unique survey of the views and concerns of Jewish immigrants in Australia. The Almanac contains short fiction and non-fiction pieces including sections on the Kadimah, Jewish Life in Australia, How Others See Us, Essays and Stories, Poems and Drama. The Almanac also includes a section in honour of those lost in the Holocaust and greetings to the Kadimah on the occassion of the 55th Anniversary. Even in the first meeting, there was a competition for the best scones and tomatoes. The consensus was to meeting monthly on the first Thursday.
