In 1997, Dr Leslie Koadlow received an Order of Australia in recognition of his work as the founder of the Arthritis Foundation of Victoria (formerly the Rheumatism and Arthritis Association of Victoria). In late 1991, the Arthritis Foundation of Victoria honoured water exercise leader, Elizabeth Roche, with an Associate Membership. In this photo, she is pictured with her trophy, which was awarded in recognition of her work as a water exercise leader for over ten years. In 1994, the Arthritis Foundation of Victoria (AFV) awarded the Ararat Arthritis Support Group with the Mollie Riches Award in recognition of the group's efforts to raise public awareness of the Foundation's work.
