RAAF – Aircraftsman Rank Badge – World War 2 Larger of the two badges has appearance of trench art; the other manufactured Metal badge in the shape of the sleeve propeller worn as a symbol of rank by leading aircraftmen. The main body of the badge has been shaped from one piece of brass.Attached to the centre of the badge is a central boss made from a circular piece of brass.
