View looking northwest from 83 Bible Street towards Henry Street and the property on the corner of Henry and Bible streets - 87 Bible Street. 85 Bible Street is a vacant block at the time. The house is a white weatherboard cottage with corrugated iron roof and belonged to Len Jarrold at the time, a builder who was closely associated with the building of Montsalvat with Justus Jorgenson.
