By this time, the number of men unfit for work had increased tremendously and the medical officer and medical orderlies were hopelessly overworked. ... Burma - Thailand railway... – Japanese Burma - Thailand railway The bestselling memoir of life ...The bestselling memoir of life as an Australian POW on the notorious Thai-Burma railway. Rohan Rivett was a journalist in Singapore when it fell to the Japanese in 1942.
