Various PartiesReference, Research, InformationArranged by Secondary Values (value of records to users)The Willsmere Park Dairy was a business established by Arthur Wills with the purpose of farming and selling milk. The pastures were beside the Yarra, and the earliest acknowledgement of such an endeavour exists as early as 1889. It changed hands throughout its existence, being sold to Charles Rout in 1908. It was often described as a ‘model’ dairy, seen as a source of pure and high-quality milk. One of the previous leasers of the property, Simonton, would help to expand Model Dairy Co., based in Kew. The file includes: Letters addressed to Kew Historical Society, and transcripts and notes from a presentation on the Willsmere property.willsmere park – kew (vic.), willsmere park dairy – kew (vic.), charles rout – kew (vic.), model dairy – kew (vic.)willsmere park – kew (vic.), willsmere park dairy – kew (vic.), charles rout – kew (vic.), model dairy – kew (vic.)
