Charlton Bakery established by Peter Klunder in 1876. Bakery owner in 1994 was Alan Tallentyre. Charlton Courier, previously the Charlton Tribune, closed c. 1996. Manchester Unity Office previously located in shop at western end of High St.Colour photograph of Charlton Bakery, Charlton Courier office and Manchester Unity office.
