Photograph shows M&MTB Air Raid Van Reg 202-734 in 1941 probably in Royal Park. This photograph with accompanying text was published in the M&MTB's 1941 Annual report. This is a late 1930s Morris Commercial chassis with what is believed to be Preston Workshops body. Oddly enough the Registration Number is from earlier period. Plan No R5869 indicated a Chevrolet "Maple Leaf" chassis was the intended chassis choice in the planning stages. It is an official M&MTB photograph. Yields information about tramways war time preparedness.
