The belt was made c 1940s for military personnel and was used by Walter Baguley and donated by his son Robert (Bob) Baguley. Walter (Wally) Baguley 1920-1994 joined the military forces in 1940 under the title of Citizen Military Services Personnel. Earlier in his life, he worked for the Nobelius Nurseries where he became skilled at grafting. Later, he worked with the Postmaster General's Department.Item is in good condition. The Baguley family are long term residents of the Emerald District. Walter Baguley served with the Citizen Military Services Personnel during World War II and this belt may date from that time and may have been used by him.Khaki Green fabric belt.
