The pennant designed and cross stitched by Margaret Thorpe to fill in lonely hours whilst Colin Arthur Thorpe was in Vietnam. She presented the pennant to the Currumbin RSL Queensland. In 2018 a small plaque was present to NVVM for the Garden of Remembrance. A cross stitch pennant with the Royal Corps of Australian Electrical and Mechanical Engineers emblem.
