The second page certifies that Marguerite Ousley has passed and is fully registered as a Trained Nurse following a three-year course of training in Medical, Surgical, Ophthalmic, Gynaecological Nursing. The Certificate is signed by AE Rowden White MD and M. Mary Berchmans Daly Mother Rectress. First constituted in 1901, the Victorian Trained Nurses Association "introduced a uniform curriculum of training and examination to establish a benefit scheme for nurses and to generally promote the interests of nurses".
