Bradbury in the 1930s. The property was known as Cooinda. The Bradbury family also owned the houses adjacent to Napoleon Street. Succeeding Dr Bradbury was Dr R.B. Loosli, resident from 1947 to 1961. Frederick Vincent Squire established a building business in Briar Hill, later becoming an Eltham Shire Councillor and responsible for many local advances; he was later Shire President.
