The donor's (Karen Bowden) grandfather - Roy Liebig (1897-1968) - took these photos in the 1940s. The photograph was published in the Ship to Shore Autumn Edition 2004. Mrs Edith Warburton was visiting the Mission and told her story: she met her husband, Walter, at a dance in the Mission during Christmas 1942.
