Erection of the new building for the School of Primary Agriculture & Horticulture was commenced late 1945 or early 1946 and proceeded slowly. It was sited on ground between the E.L.C. and the School grounds. It was necessary to pull down about half the Pavilion to allow construction to proceed. It is possible that E.M. Gibson left these photographs at the College when she retired from teaching there. Photographs relate to her work in designing new planting around the Administration Building and a general record of what the whole site looked like during this time. Various numbering systems have been used on reverse of photographs but the most consistent one has been used for cataloguing and sorting. These photographs include some of the missing ones from Series 1, 2, 4, 6 and 76 in B09.0005 and are the same as those in the negatives B09.0001. Possibly one person (J.L. Provan?) has taken the photographs and E.M. Gibson has picked out the ones she wanted.
