Born Edith Marie Bishop in 1907, Edith Lunn documented sweeping social and technological changes from the early to late 20th century. An honorary member of the Bendigo Tourist Authority and member of the Friends of Bendigo Cemetery, Edith had a keen and passionate interest in Bendigo’s history. She wrote on local history for the 'Bendigo Advertiser' and her passion for local history was further reflected in the publication of her book 'Snippets of Bendigo's History'. Edith died in April 2009, at the age of 101. Nine page collection of articles on Bendigo's streetscapes, written by Edith Lunn. 1.
