This magazine has been collected for the article on page 2, "Pioneers and Painters" about the book published by the Shire of Eltham in celebration of its centenary, edited by Alan Marshall with a photo of Alan Marshall with the book. The article provides some background to Marshall's association with Eltham and Kangaroo Ground and includes notable mentions of Peter Glass, Cecile Glass, Clifton Pugh, Jon Olsen, Justus Jorgensen, Matcham Skipper, Montsalvat and Mudbrick houses. "The Australian Women's Weekly" has been digitised and is accessible via the National Library of Australia's Trove website. Digitised editions cover the period from its first issue in 1933 to 1982 only. "Personalities and Stories of Early Orbost' was written by historian , teacher and prominent Orbost local, Mary Gilbert. The stories were gathered from writings of the early pioneers orb their children. Other information derives from obituaries and newspaper reports. The third edition was organised by the Orbost & District Tourist Association and was re-printed after her death. "The Australian Ski Year Book" was first published in 1928 by the Kosciusko Alpine Club and the Ski Club of Australia, which with the Kiandra Ski Club, were the oldest organisations for skiing in Australia. In later years organisations from Victoria, Tasmania and New Zealand were included. It was published on behalf of N.S.W. Ski Council, Ski Club of Victoria, Ski Council of Tasmania, Ski Council of the Federated N.Z. Mountain Clubs. It aimed to provide an annual record of the sport of ski running in Australia, and of events elsewhere which would be of interest to Australian ski enthusiasts. This edition celebrated the Golden Jubilee of the publication. It included an extensive article "The Girls Have Made It" about Australia's first Women's Ski Team written by Bill Bachman.
