The Committee aimed to raise awareness of the contribution of Sir John Quick and to ensure that he was recognized for the part he played.Agenda and minutes of meeting of the Sir John Quick Committee held on 20.6.1994. Three typed pages. Items discussed Final arrangements for the Inaugural Sir John Quick lecture on Friday 12.8.1994 at La Trobe University Bendigo. Justice Michael Kirby to present the lecture. Concern about frequent public references suggesting that John Quick drafted the Australian Constitution at "the Eyrie". Black and white photo, 'The Eyrie' turretted and gabled roof line. Picket fence, brick pillars on gatewah with gravel path up on right to pine trees. Overgrown garden, with palm trees. On stick on label ' date unknown pre 1922 when steps were put in palms now well grown. Verandah canopy no longer striped wooden gates gone. House restored in 1998.
