Robert Anderson was one of the earliest settlers of Phillip Island. He built Glen Isla house in 1887 and travelled to Melbourne by ferry for his plumbing business. Wilhelmena, born 1856 on the ship "Wilhelmena" en route to Australia. Parents Robert and Margaret Anderson. Glen Isla was built in 1868 (added to in 1887-88) to become a Boarding House, run by Wilhelmena.
