Blind bowler Gloria Pascoe could be the first totally blind bowler playing Pennant competition. Members of the Victorian Blind Indoor Bias Bowls Association won 13 medals at the recent championships held in Queensland. Initially beginning as a small self-help group at the Association for the Blind, the group of Ken Gunning, Gloria Pascoe, Bill Muller, Rose Del-ZMonaco, Sally Leighton, Bill Lovett, Athol Blain, Alma Box, Pat Gaze and Frank Bartoli came way with five gold, four silver and four bronze medals.
